Craft Stop

CHALLENGE

The James L. Maher Center sells craft supplies to help finance some of the Center's programs for people with disabilities. When they approached Sprintout for an e-commerce website, they had only one resource: their inventory. It was up to Sprintout to design and develop the site from the ground up.

SOLUTION

Sprintout marshalled its resources and handled every aspect of development:
  • graphic design
  • copy writing
  • programming—including the shopping basket feature, a newsletter sign-up form and customer registration
  • trained the staff in the use of a credit card gateway program
  • developed an accounting system for managing finances

BACKGROUND

Located in Newport, RI, the James L. Maher organization was founded 50 years ago to serve the needs of people with disabilities.
